Akinom's position
Akinom carries values that guide its business model towards greater sustainability and responsibility . This is reflected in good inventory management, not systematically selling off products and offering consistent and stable prices and discounts all year round. Respect for the environment is no longer an option and is not a marketing stance, it is part of the company's daily actions.
The underside of our prices
Our products are manufactured in Portugal using premium materials and with different certifications .
Our products are technical, requiring a greater number of operations compared to simpler products.
These combined elements justify a higher price than competing products, often from large imports, in less responsible materials.
No sales, no Black Friday...
Originally, sales were created to reduce surpluses and unsold items, by having the possibility of selling at a loss. By limiting overstocking, selling off no longer makes sense and avoids selling at a loss. Selling at a loss removes value from the work of the people and materials used.
Discounts are applied to bulk purchases because we have decided to pass on the savings made on marketing, advertising and transportation efforts to the public sale price and pass them on to our customers.
However, if products have too high a stock volume without any future restocking, they are placed in the Outlet section. as well as end of series and prototypes.
Well-being through commitment
Charitable commitment is part of Akinom's values: by taking care of ourselves, we take care of others. Akinom is committed to donating 1% of its profits each year to support research into testicular and prostate cancer.
This specific choice is personal, it is part of a holistic approach that Akinom promotes, that of male well-being down to the most intimate level.
